About Chef Diane

I have a passion for food, and stress the importance of using the freshest and best quality ingredients to create great food!  When possible, I prefer to use ingredients that are in season and local.  'Why' is a question I hear often - the reasons are many - supporting local farmers when possible, knowing where your food came from and how it was grown, less time between the field and the table, as well as less fossil fuel from tractor trailer trucks; just to name a few.

 I completed the professional cooking and professional baking certificates at Mercer County Community College with a 4.0 average at the top of my class.   I am currently a member of the Personal Chefs Cooperative, a  professional organization for chefs and run by chefs.   I am continually looking for opportunities to learn and attend seminars and classes with masters in the industry to keep up with current trends.  There is always something new to be learned!

Clients can rest comfortably knowing that I am a SafeServ Certified safe food handler, and I am fully insured.
